Thursday Chalenge - Many.

Here are two Photos I think fit this challenge.
The first one of the crowd was taken during the Chinese New Year celebrations 2011, there was so many people squeezing into the one little street.
The second one of the pelicans was taken in Mallacoota, located on the east coast of Victoria.
The Pelicans are lined up waiting for the scraps as the fishermen clean their catch.
 

Thursday Challenge - Delicate.

This was taken at the Melbourne Zoo Using Nikon DSLR and Macro Lens.
Love the way it turned out, especially the colour.
It looks to me to be very delicate.

Theme Thursday - "Building"

This was taken a little while ago but fits the theme.
There used to be another building located in this spot but it was pulled down and now building is about to start on a new one.

Thursday Challenge - Festival.

This one was taken in the city recently. It was not actually a festival but I think it has a festival feel.

Thursday Challenge - Pink

This is the blossom of the eucalyptus tree.
They come in many different colours, red, pink, yellow, orange, white.
They attract the bees like crazy in the summer.

Thursday Challenge - Shapes.

This photo was taken on board a submarine at the Maritime Museum in Sydney.
I loved how all the valve handles lined up looked like a little garden.
Great shapes!

Theme Thursday - Spring.

This is a picture of a lemon blossom from my lemon tree.

Thursday Challenge - Experimental.

I was playing around with the camera - experimenting - trying to get a decent shot of this carousel as it moved.
I was not successful but I did get a decent shot when it stopped!!

Theme Thursday - "Body"

This is a close up of my eye, doctored somewhat in photoshop. Added colour to iris (always wanted brilliant blue eyes!) and used the coloured pencil filter and light filter on my skin. I had alot of fun doing this and have wanted to take an eye close up for ages.

This is the happiest looking seal I've ever seen! This photo was taken at SeaWorld on the gold Coast in late November 2006. We were up there for a little holiday and had a lovely day here.

This Photo was taken in the bird sanctuary in Kuranda, Queensland, November 2005. This was a very cute, funny and friendly little parrot!

Theme Thursday - Weather.

This weeks theme is Weather. I took this shot on the way home from work. I see this kind of thing all the time and never have my camera on me but this time I did have it but by the time I actually took the shot I had missed the best effects of the sun coming through the break in the clouds and you can just see a little on the left. Still looks cool though! We are having some very cold weather here in Melbourne, a very cold start to winter!

Theme Thursday - Transportation.

I couldn't decide between the two of these photos so I have posted both.
1: The first is a photo of the Skyrail near Cairns, Queensland. This is a pretty slow ride over the Rainforest and Barron Falls.
2: This photo shows The Daintree River Train. They conduct tours on the Daintree River in Queensland. Looks like alot of fun to catch this train.

This photo was taken at one of the beaches in Mallacoota, Victoria, Australia. Probably around November 2003.
I took it because I thought it woulod make a good background image for digital or normal craft.

Theme Thursday - Energy

This is my girl Molly. She is a Kelpie cross and a beautiful natured dog who loves to chasea ball and especially, to jump high and pluck them from the air! Here I think she looks like a ballet dancer. Taken February 2006.
