Lensday Challenge - "City Life"

Life of a city pigeon.
This is a pigeon loft in the City of Melbourne.
Built to try to attract the pigeons away from breeding on the windowsills of the buildings and to control thier numbers.

Photo Friday - Extreme Closeup.

This is a close up of a lemon still hanging on the tree, still a bit green!
Using the Supermacro function of the Olympus Camera.

See It Sunday - Fresh.

I took this one out in my backyard. I think it fits the theme because it is still fresh and my dogs haven't trampled it yet!.

Thursday Challenge - Festival.

This one was taken in the city recently. It was not actually a festival but I think it has a festival feel.

Tuesday Challenge - Gold.

I took this one the same time I took the one for Macroday as the Macroday challenge is Gold too.
I'm posting 2 pics because I liked them both.

Macroday - Gold

I had some fun with this challenge trying to find something different to photograph.
These are some gold and silver brads on gold card.

Macroday - Cap.

This is a macro photo of filter cap on the "AirCap" we use when dealing with the dusty environment of the pigeon lofts.
Great invention.
You put the cap on which is just a baseball type cap.
It has a face shield and a filter and fan mounted on the top of the cap.
The fan blows filtered air down across your face and out the sides of the faceshield creating a positive pressure under the facemask that prevents non filtered air from entering.

Tuesday Challenge - Graffiti.

I actually found it hard to find some graffiti in my neighborhood. I guess thats a good sign!
I went for a drive around and found this one and also another that was in a language I don't know so I didn't post it up, Who knows what it might say!
This ones pretty good though, Very neat and tidy.
It would be interesting to know the meaning of it!

LensDay Challenge - Green.

I took this photo when I discovered this little visitor on my lemon tree.
I love taking shots like these and love the super macro feature on the Olympus camera.

This is my photo for the Photo Friday theme of "The good life."
These two couples sure look like they are living the good life.
Not so much the fellows driving, it was a 39 degree day this day!!

Lens Day Challenge - Metallic.

This Photo was taken along Southbank in Melbourne.
It is one of the many Art Sculptures there are in this area of the city.
I think its supposed to be a big metal rose.
